I would like to second Don's request made above. There does seem to be a distinct lack of predictions in recent weeks (other than Don's). Of course, it is difficult to argue with success, but each predictor can be successful in their own way. Don seems to have shown the ability to pinpoint earthquakes in time and space, but is having difficulty with the magnitudes of his events - that is, while the earthquakes he predicts usually occur, they are not usually large or significant in the usual cultural sense. On the other hand, a sensitive like Petra, may be able to identify that a large event is imminent, but have a poor idea of exactly where the event will occur. I, on the other hand, working at a government lab am not permitted to make public predictions, so my forte is in evaluating the predictions you folks make. The only way we can lick this problem is if we all pull together. If you have some foresight into a possible upcoming event, please post it here. We will not fault anyone if you are wrong, but you can't help if you don't try. There are a lot of people reading this site. Even with the horrific events of the past week and the labor day weekend before, the site has had several thousand hits. Some of these are probably people with some knowledge of the subject who would like to see some form of earthquake prediction take hold. So here's to all predictors and future predictions - live long and prosper!!!
