This is another stupid question from the new-comer... Why does anyone want to be on the West Coast right now? From all the information I've read on your site and others, it seems very unstable. The aquifer and blind thrust information was unsettling at best, esp. given all the other factors involved.

That being said, at least CA hasn't seen the West Nile virus show up yet as we have in Michigan
