Hi Canie. From the sounds of it, no matter where you choose to live...IF you choose to live in one of the valleys that drains Mt. Rainier, you are facing danger. I'm happy to be able to see the mountain but to be out of it's reach as far as I know. They did show some new footage this morning from up on the mountain and mud and rocks were continuing to pour down the side. The flow looked wider to me but it looked like there were fewer boulders. It's amazing how much change can happen on those slopes in such a short period of time. It looks quite different than it did this time last week.
