It's an inspiring view to say the least and a magical place to visit. I am sure that most people live in some sort of hazard zone, whether it be from earthquakes, hurricanes, tornadoes, etc. You are right, it's part of living on our living planet. I do think that people can make choices though and limit thier level of risk. I think that living in the town of Orting for example is a BAD idea. Now those people have a VIEW! I suppose it's all a matter of chance. It may be that there won't be any trouble there in our lifetimes, but I wouldn't bet on that.
