Ascension Island and Coast of Oregon earthquakes

Two interesting earthquakes occurred last night. The first was in the South mid-Atlantic
ridge area near Ascension Island. The second was a Mb 4.5 off the coast of southern
Oregon.
The Ascension Island earthquake was 59-60 degrees from the recent Peru mainshocks,
a distance at which far-field triggering was expected in the posted far-field aftershock
forecast.
The Blanco Seismic Zone earthquake off of Oregon was the largest within 100 km of this
epicenter since October 1998, although a comparably sized event occurred in December,
2000 ( Dec 9th). I am curious how this event affects Don's prediction for Northern
California. Any thoughts Don?
