Next Proposed Project – Evaluate Computer Program Generated Ocean Tide Data Accuracy – November 16, 2012

There are so many projects of different types presently in progress it is becoming difficult to even keep track of them all. Just the earthquake related ones have become so numerous that it is difficult to keep the EarthWaves board notes current regarding all of them. But, here are some updates.

NUCLEAR TESTS PROJECT

The underground nuclear tests effects on earthquake occurrence times looks like it is finished and that it was completely successful. There were some really high magnitude earthquakes that occurred during the decades when those tests were being conducted. And if the tests were generating shockwaves that were causing fault zones where high magnitude earthquakes were going to occur to become unstable and fracture with lower magnitude earthquakes then the shockwaves were certainly not doing that for all fault zones.

The possibility that that was happening for specific fault zones was outside of the range of the project. It was intended to see if the shockwaves affected All fault zones around the world. And that appears to have clearly not been the case.

OCEAN TIDE DATA ACCURACY PROJECT

The next proposed project is to determine if downloadable computer programs such as Etgtab.exe are able to generate reasonably accurate ocean tide data for different locations around the planet.

This is important to me at least because my personal forecasting computer program is being upgraded so that it will allow researchers around the world to easily generate a variety of data directly related to and possibly indirectly related to earthquakes and compare them with each other. Those data include earthquake occurrence times, various forecast data including mine, Pavel’s, Shan’s, Amit Daves, and as many other types of forecast data as possible, sun and moon location data, ocean tide and Solid Earth Tide height data, Ring Map data, and even solar and geomagnetic storm data if they can be easily obtained.

It is probably fairly easy to have a computer program generate Solid Earth Tide data. But since ocean tides are highly location dependent, it is undermined at the moment if downloadable computer programs such as Etgtab.exe can generate them for different locations around the planet.

This following is a Web address for a Web site CGI computer program that I believe does generate high accuracy ocean tide data for many locations around the world.

So, if Roger or others want to see if Etgtab.exe can generate ocean tide data that match the ones generated by that CGI program then that would be a helpful project. I plan to eventually do that myself if no one else works on the project. But at the moment I need to get all of these other projects including earthquake related ones finished.

FORECASTING COMPUTER PROGRAM

My personal earthquake forecasting computer program had a few bugs with the latest upgrade. Earthquake circles on the charts were not automatically updating when anything else was changed with the chart appearance. Those bugs were squashed earlier today. And the program now works properly, and really, really fast now that it doesn’t have to call a special TrueBasic program to select the earthquakes to be displayed.

TOTAL ELECTRON CONTENT (TEC) RELATED PROJECT

The earthquake researcher who sent me that amazingly accurate forecast for the following earthquake has now given me some additional data and permission to circulate everything freely.

NEIS Data

However, I need to contact him again and see if he actually wants to have his name included with his data that I am planning to post to my Web site. I believe that he does. He has a Ph.D. in physics if I remember correctly. And he has submitted information related to that forecast to some type of journal for formal publication. He thinks that it might take several months for reviews etc. before his data are published.

FINALLY,

It is probably wise and for their own good for those two people who have been arguing with me for various periods of time to leave this bulletin board.

If people think that anything being said here is controversial, they should see all of the information that I sent to various U.S. Policy Makers and elected officials prior to the November 6, 2012 elections.

I am fairly certain that some of that information made it into the national and international news. And even more made it into the presidential and vice presidential debates. There appear to still be some shockwaves circulating around Washington, D.C. related to some of my information. And there are going to be quite a few more shockwaves to come if all goes according to plan.

For one example, before the election I very emphatically told the people running one of the most powerful departments or agencies in the U.S. government that they were “messing up” with some critically important matters (not related to earthquakes). I told them that they needed to get their acts together. And I even offered to help them with that and circulated all of that information to various elected officials and U.S. Policy Makers etc.

The people in that department or agency totally ignored everything I told them as did the elected officials. That happens perhaps 65% of the time with information I send government officials and U.S. Policy Makers. They will usually do what I recommend if it also happens to be consistent with what they want to do anyway. If not, my reports probably go off to the circular file. And I consider a 35% rate with such matters to be astonishingly high for any scientist and something to brag about, though not in public.

But, that particular matter is too important to be ignored. And so I am planning on trying to get a type of “civil war” stared within the U.S. government with various agencies having some very heated battles with one another behind the scenes over those issues and others. I am also planning to bring national and perhaps international news service in on this if necessary. And if this particular matter does make it into the national and international news I fully expect that the U.S. general public will be absolutely infuriated with our elected officials and U.S. Policy Makers for allowing this particular problem to exist for so long. They could have easily and inexpensively dealt with it decades ago.

These are personal opinions.
