Since a thread has already been started related to that earthquake I will just continue with it.

If I read things correctly, that earthquake off the coast of Canada occurred only 18 km down in the Earth. That is a very powerful earthquake at a relatively shallow depth. Had it been directly under a city, as one report I read stated, it probably would have done a lot of damage.

Quite a few strong EM Signals have been detected in the past week. It is highly likely that they were pointing to the approach of that earthquake. But I have been busy with election related matters and have still not had time to run them through my forecasting computer programs.

I had been planning to circulate an earthquake warning even without processing those EM Signals. However, now that that earthquake has occurred I don't feel that that is necessary. Some data related to this will eventually be made available when those EM Signals have finally been processed.

Someone will undoubtedly state that this is "predicting the earthquake after it occurs." That always happens on this bulletin board. And so I will once again state that it is important for earthquake researchers to circulate information to other researchers around the world regarding whether or not they detected anything before some powerful earthquake occurred even if they have to do that after it has occurred. If they don't do that then no one will know if any progress is being made with detecting the approach of these powerful earthquakes.

These are personal opinions.
