Re: Queen Charlotte Islands 7.7 quake |
Roger, You forgot to take your memory pills this morning (humor intended). As I have said to you many times in the past, and as you have said, "I understand," many times in the past, I am collecting as many as a dozen EM Signals per day on some days. On others is might be as few as 2 or at times even none. I really only pay attention to the high intensity signals but do process them all. There are so many signals that around the beginning of 2012 I had to get a major effort started to streamline and improve the data collection and data transfer preocesses. That required a lot of hardware and software purchasing and work. The important part of that work got done a month or so ago. And I have been doing some fine tuning since. However, a Bluetooth hardware device that I purchased for use with the hardware and software modifications doesn't appear to be working properly so far. And some time needs to be invested in getting that part of the system running, assuming it will run. None of this should even be necessary. These EM Signals presently appear to represent fluctuations in the Earth's geomagnetic field in the 2 through 8000 cycles per second range. And governments around the world should be doing this work, not independent researchers. There is a hardware detection system that is suppoled to be able to detect these signals described at my Web site. It was invented by an earthquake researcher in China. I don't have one of them myself. They would probably cost around $2000 each $US to produce. That would be too high for most independent researchers but not even a drop in the bucket for any government compared with the damage that an unexpected earthquake can do.
