Re: EARTHQUAKE FORECASTING SUCCESS !!! – March 14, 2012 |
Ordinarily I ignore John Vidale’s posts that are made in response to mine. And I have politely asked him in the past not to respond to my posts on the EarthWaves board. But since this thread has been referenced by me in several Newsgroups I am going to make an exception to my normal policy and say something. It is my strongest advice to anyone and everyone checking this thread that they completely ignore any notes that he posts here in response to one of mine, regardless of the content of the thread. My March 7 Earthquake Warning was made a full week before that Japan earthquake. And two board posters have confirmed that I told them that I was becomingly increasingly concerned that a powerful earthquake could be headed for the Japan area. Had that March 14 Japan earthquake occurred inland then it might have done a lot of damage. Regarding my methodology, It has been explained in great detail at my Web sites for years. And there is even a computer program there based on that methodology that researchers and anyone else can download and use for free. “Ear Tone” data that are available everywhere for free can also be used with the program. So, once again, I recommend that everyone ignore anything and everything that he says in response to one of my posts. As far as Roger’s response post is concerned. I have been working with Roger for years to develop forecasting computer programs. And his help has been invaluable. But with humor intended I will propose that I and probably many other forecasters are convinced that one of Roger’s DNA molecules has a gene in it that spells: “Earthquakes can’t be predicted.” And we will probably need to have a new DNA version of Roger before that will change! These are personal opinions. Follow Ups: ● common sense - John Vidale 22:29:52 - 3/16/2012 (79722) (0) |
