More Trouble For The Japan Nuclear Power Industry - August 20, 2011 |
More nuclear power plant trouble for Japan The report listed below is stating that radioactive steam is coming out of the ground. And people are concerned that a melted reactor core in one of the damaged Japan nuclear power plants might now be moving out of the building. That news is just incredible. Nuclear reactor meltdowns have long been the subject of science fiction films. I don’t think that anyone actually expected that we would ever see a real meltdown in a modern nuclear power plant. Something that I have been saying all along is that earthquakes might be 10 to 100 times more dangerous than even earthquake researchers and disaster mitigation officials realize. And that is because of the "collateral" types of damage they can cause. This Japan nuclear power plant catastrophe is an example of that collateral damage. It is like a nightmare that never ends. These are person opinions.
