Roger, you are correct. Before throwing around kudos, I should have gone back and looked at Don's original prediction. Your analogy, however, I find strained. I believe Don was predicting a very small eq in an area where such tremors are rare. (Someone said they occur with a frequency of one per year.) Cats walk down streets all the time, so one wouldn't expect that to be unusual. Elephant? Yes, if you live in Africa or Asia.
