My point is - on what legal grounds did the ticketing officer have to issue the ticket? Maybe I'm being naive or missed something, but getting a ticket for ice skating doesn't ring right. Yeah, it's a small petty thing, but it's the principle, and when you let small principles go eventually the big ones get taken.
