Dear Governor Nixon,

I support your decision to commute the execution. I would like to see Missouri stop executions altogether. This is based on two reasons. The first is that since about 40 years ago when I was a teenager, I have thought that innocent people are wrongly convicted of crimes. The second is that it is wrong to kill people, and that having government do this in an organized way does not make it less wrong.
