EQF..it appears to me that you don't understand geodetics/GPS/angles/how the earth works

If a method does not work, it does not matter how cheap it is. If it does not work, giving credibility to it is negative to people's safety or making advances in earthquake education etc. Whether or not there is anything to Shan's (or your) method does not have to be part of this post; it's just that some critical thinking is needed.
