Care to identify those research and disaster mitigation personnel and agencies that you providing directions to? Who is intimidating people? Who fears being criticized or ridiculed? You make it sound like your average researcher is an insecure and spineless wimp to runs and cries to Mommy when someone says, "Can I see your prediction?" ...or were you talking about yourself?
