"Normally, the value of a human life in China isn't the same as we think it is here in the US, or in the Western world" Unless you happen to be poor and black and have lived in the 9th Ward in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina. I will never forget W patting his FEMA director on the back and saying, "You're doing a great job, Brown." Almost three years later, many of those people are still living in asbestos contaminated trailers. I wonder how different the response would have been if that hurricane had hit Houston.
