Howdy,

We have been feeling all of the 5's down here. It's been going for about 3 days non stop of the house creaking and cracking. I wish I had a better history of preceeded the 1892 event, which was felt all the way into LA. My guess is if a bigger shoe drops it will be a normal mechanism consistent with the faulting down there in the spreading zone. What would really be interesting is if Cerro Prieto dome becomes active. It's a lonely looking thing, and we went to it about 10 years ago. I am sure some of the geothermal activity down there will change. Let's see what gives.
