Normally I hear big ones before the rumbling/rolling actually hits. Usually I get 30 seconds to 1 minute warning.

This one I heard only about 10 secs before it hit - very low frequency sound.

Amazingly 4 year old boy wasn't fazed a bit by his first EQ. As a matter of fact his first response was, "What was that?"

..and then..."why?"
