If the ones with the knowledge could set aside their egos for one minute and look at other methods with the idea that it could work if all methods were combined then maybe you and I will see the day when an earthquake can be forecasted much the same way as the weather is today. Each has their own agenda to push.

No two earthquakes are the same. You can have an earthquake at the exact same location as the last one, but the conditions for that quake will be different because the conditions that cause the last quake were changed by that quake. It is true that there are scientists who know a lot about earthquakes and why they happen, but they don’t fully understand the dynamics of what causes one quake to be a major quake and another to be nothing more then an annoyance.

As I see it, understanding is the problem, that plus the egos that some scientists have. Take Care…Don in creepy town.
