Ok, sorry, I thought everyone knew about the cloud man. Dr Shou believes that approaching quakes produce water vapor which rises up and forms a cloud of a particular linear shape. When he sees such a cloud he predicts a quake. He sends these predictions to the USGS in Pasadena and has published a paper listing 50 of them, which is what I posted as the first table. 16 of those predictions had locations given in lat/lon terms, making them unequivocally testable. The rest have place names which lead to arguments over whether a given quake fits or not. The second table shows that those 16 are still significant by Shou's analysis and thus a fair sample. The third table is my analysis of the 16 quakes, comparing them to the NEIC catalog which shows that they are not significant.
