Re: question in ethanol etc..Jane and others? |
Those are all good questions Chris. I don't have the answers :-) - BUT - I did want to inject that the same logic applies to Electric cars. More oil and energy is required to fuel an electric car than a gasoline powered car, by the time the electricity gets from the power plant to the car... So electric cars aren't an answer either.. people seem to forget this small fact.. I did manage to find this question/answer as to fuel economy (URL Below): and then this: It also says this: Carbon dioxide is another by-product in ethanol production and is used as a refrigerant and putting the fizz in our sodas. There are no waste products when ethanol is produced from corn. And closes with this: Canie Follow Ups: ● Re: question in ethanol etc..Jane and others? - Skywise 20:46:41 - 5/11/2007 (71643) (2) ● The diesel problem - Glen 22:18:57 - 5/11/2007 (71645) (2) ● Re: The diesel problem - Canie 19:52:59 - 5/13/2007 (71669) (0) ● Re: The diesel problem - Skywise 23:54:23 - 5/11/2007 (71657) (0) ● Re: question in ethanol etc..Jane and others? - Roger Hunter 22:07:01 - 5/11/2007 (71644) (0) ● Re: question in ethanol etc..Jane and others? - Jane 18:13:07 - 5/11/2007 (71638) (1) ● thank you all - heartland chris 07:27:07 - 5/12/2007 (71667) (2) ● Re: thank you all - Jane 13:14:52 - 5/14/2007 (71709) (0) ● Re: thank you all - Canie 19:57:34 - 5/13/2007 (71670) (0) |
