I have one word for you ----> Comcast!

I had DSL for years and dealt with some real issues. I was too far away from equipment switching stations, so my speed was reduced thanx to attenuation of the signal. I barely got 384k and they told me that if I ever stopped service, I could never return. In fact one technician told me 17800 feet was a DSL record for him.

So I suffered because we have a T3 at work, and the difference was painful. Then I talked to my neighbors and they told me how fast and I got the courage to check it out. I called Comcast and they promised the slowest speed would be a T1, but the slowest speed I've seen so far is over 3 times faster than a T3. Even a T1, just a T1 speed would have made me so happy. I drool no more at work. Once again I have a better set up at home!

I have joined the spoiled club, and barring incredible rate increases, will be on Comcast for a loooong time.
