Typically, Comcast doesn't guarantee anything higher than 384K for basic residential - and 768K for the costlier packages.

What you have is not T1 equivalent...(1.544 / 1.544)

...still not broadband either...

My DSL however is supposed to be 1.544 / 384 - however because of wet splices, Comcast cutting through a 400 pair - etc....most neighborhood DSL modems are locked in "safe mode" leaving us mostly with 769 / 339.

Arrggh...

SBC really needs to get serious about re-running neighborhood trunks...it's that bad.
