Chris and Roger, looks like another X-1 flare just occured but
the CME may only brush by us.

If you look at the link below, it will give you a better definition
of the K index. There are data bases available on the internet about
magnetic storms. Also this kp chart at NOAA is the compilation of nine
magnometer stations in Canada and the US.

I have been watching the Suns effect on the earth since 1987.
