One of the rings did go through the SF Bay Area right before activity picked up, so that interested me. I didn't know Roger had done an analysis of ring mapping that shot it down as a theory. (BTW, where is Roger? Haven't seen him on this site or others for quite a while.) What is John Vidale's take on them? Worthless?
