Yes, ring maps is what I was talking about. You are right; I hadn't worded that clearly. Embarrassing for this writer to admit, but it's the ugly truth. We all have our days ... One of the rings did go through the SF Bay Area right before activity picked up, so that interested me. I didn't know Roger had done an analysis of ring mapping that shot it down as a theory. (BTW, where is Roger? Haven't seen him on this site or others for quite a while.) What is John Vidale's take on them? Worthless?
