I reread those passages and realized I have much better and precice predictions and hits since then. However, since the quake did hit the Tahoe Vista region and a 4.8 does not happen every day, week, or month in this area--I do believe my cat sensed it along with my dog, as mentioned in the book and it is clear.

Further, you remind me of some of the USGS folks who I spoke to after the 2004 Dec. 26 great quake-tsunami. They said that they still did not believe animals can sense oncoming quakes even after the world knew due to massive reports in the media that countless animals survived because they got a heads up and headed for higher ground, while countless people died.

I know, I know. I predict you're going to say that it was just the tsunami that the animals sensed. But there is still the debate if the animals sensed the big wave(s) or quake-but some scientists indeed believe they did sense the underwater earthquake.

Why don't we just agree to disagree.
