Re: Trash-not so trashy |
Hi there - I've tried to stay on the sidelines here and see what everyone wants to do...I'm not particularly attached to anything one way or another - I do want everyone to feel like they are being represented properly. If you want a confidence level added to the form I can do that - My personal feeling about it is its an odd piece of data - I guess i would be rating how sure I am of myself in making a prediction? I guess i don't tend to make predictions unless I'm at least 85% sure - and I'm sure Dennis doesn't make predictions unless he's pretty sure of himself. Whether we're sure of ourselves or not, how does this confidence level affect the outcome? But - like I said, I'll add it - or are we talking about some other variable? Would it be possible to add to the table a field of 'predictor's comments' where the predictor of the quake can e-mail micheal something - limited to XX characters (30, 50, 100?) that he can then add to his table - This way the comment stays short, sweet and with the table. I would think it would be some meaningful comment and not a "oh well, sorry" type of thing. I am not the ultimate judge on how all this is done - its all of you - I think this is a great example of how it is possible to work together. Follow Ups: ● confidence level - michael 09:42:51 - 2/23/2001 (5370) (1) ● Confidence level - Dennis Gentry of Santa Clarita 21:11:37 - 2/23/2001 (5389) (0) |
