The 4.7 near Gilroy |
Does anyone else in our area feel that this might be a foreshock rather than all there is going to be. I remember a couple of years ago, East San Jose had a 5.0, possibly on the same fault. Or does the aftershock sequence of the 4.7 imply that it is a regular earthquake? What percent of earthquakes go on to be proven foreshocks to something larger? My dogs are much quieter today. Cal, thanks for the coyote link. I do see spring is mating season, and dusk or night is when one is likely to hear them howling. I'll report anything unusual tonight.
