I do have a copy of "The Man Who Predicts Earthquakes," and have been attempting to read it. I'm about a third of the way through. I really don't wish to be rude, but it's kind of like trying to watch Fox "News". I'm about a third of the way through (after a month), and I stop reading when my teeth start to gnash and I begin ranting out loud. In fact, it has even caused me to rend my garment. Though written fairly well (the editor should have caught a few typos and grammatical errors), and interesting in parts, its science is execrable. I would summarize its scientific content as "a complete suspension of disbelief."
