I remember your comprehensive list of Lake Tahoe quakes. I got a move on and got more prepared. But yeah, quakes in CA are different than in Japan and China. Still, if people listen to quake warnings -- yes, it can save lives. What if, what if people paid attention to Kerry Sieh? What happened in Haicheng, China, earthquake of 1975? We have tornado, snowstorm, hurricane warnings...How many times have forecasts been off the mark? I don't understand why there is a double standard. Diasters are disasters.
