Hi Cal, The ground here is totally saturated. Every field has water which has been standing for at least two weeks and it rained pretty good last night too. But the worst is not flooding, but the landslide potential. It's going to be a difficult year as we head into spring because even if we didn't get another drop of rain the hillsides are already weakened. As far as it being as bad as 82 or 86, that remains to be seen. But it is not common at all to receive 20 inches of rain in 3 days. It is truly a rare event. It falls within the 150 year flood parameters. At this point those in the 100 year zones have not been hit yet. As for the snow, you would have to ask someone local as they know best.
