Yes, it does seem unusual - there is a large mining operation there and I wondered if it might have even been an explosion.. but I'm sure they've checked all that by now.. even so, quarry shocks are usually a much smaller magnitude... I have a wonderfully large sample of "kernite" in my living room from there..
