Everyday sunshine indicates the movement of the earth on its elliptical path on the space.
In normal days it makes more or less as straight line compared with previous day at the same
time. If any force acted on earth on a particular day, change in the line connecting between
previous day indicates formation of quake. Hope I have clarified your doubt.
