The signals coming in last night were well after the "off the Oregon" coast quakes. So I don't think that they were related to those events or any future events in that area.

As to the beaching of killer whales, I can't say one way or another as to whether or not these beachings have anything to do with pending earthquakes. I know that at one time an individual was monitoring these occurrences in relation to earthquakes but have since lost track of this person. I don't even know if he is still working on it. I could go out to DejaNews and try and look for some of his posts and then email him, but DejaNews is currently making some server changes and a lot of the old data isn't searchable right now. It may be possible that there is something to whale beachings and earthquakes, but I think that the jury is still out on it.

BTW, Baja Californa isn't that far from the prediction/advisory area.
