There's No Money To Improve Structures |
Chris, In places like Pakistan where construction primarily consists of multi-storied cement buildings these are places where earthquake prediction would be the most beneficial. An early warning to leave those residences, even if they had to camp out in a field for two weeks is far better than a substantial loss of life and it also provides a time for them to gather their most valued possessions. How much perfection do we need to save 40,000 lives? 100,000 in research? I hope not.
