starry night |
It is 11:10 PM and we are about 35 deg 30' N...pretty far offshore....and it is a fantastic night....milky way from horizon to horizon...100% stars...no skyglow from distant cities. Can't see that in Suburbia...even the large state parks to the north of where I live have bad light pollution. We are still running along the track I laid out...unclear whether or not we are on a fault...but we crossed another canyon at another right jog in the canyon...it will take processing of the data to see the faults in some area. Wife in suburbia was able to show the North Anatolia fault en-echelon seafloor trace in Marmara Sea where its relief is only 50 cm. No, I'm not going to say how many inches that is...
