Something seems lost in this discussion. Don's prediction in post #26656 (he corrected the distance to miles in #26657) included a correct magnitude range. Are you saying that a prediction for an event that size would cause evacuation? Or that correctly predicting small events is useless? [Below is Don's original prediction.] Magnitude: 2.6 to 3.9
