Canie and I both posted that Anza could trigger an earthquake in this area of the San Andreas. I am sure that the USGS would be very concerned about a major San Andreas earthquake. This is not a prediction as such: it is just standard thought that this is a part of the San Andreas that has not failed since (1812?)....and that this is one of the largest quakes...maybe the largest, right there in the last decade or 2..... bad thunderstorm here in eastern suburbia right now, rain in mid June in central California, snow in the Sierra, quakes.....What, me worry?
