North America is moving about 5cm/yr relative to the Pacific plate, so halfway across the SAF zone, the relative motion is about 2.5 cm/yr. Doesn't say much to me about WHEN the fault is likely to go, just that each century another few meters of strain accumulate on the fault network. I'm not up on the hot spots for triggering disastrous earthquakes up in your neighborhood, but I haven't heard any alarms bells going off yet.
