Don, a decade or 3 ago I heard about waves in concrete during and EQ, with no craks later in the concrete. It was vibrations in the eye that made it appear that there were waves in the concrete (although I don't doubt that there are waves to some extent). I probably heard this on TV...may or may not be true.
