SJSU and NASA, but NASA has been putting out his press releases. The experiments make sense, up to a point, it is the interpretation that is shaky. We come back to the same point. Can we detect the sounds coming from faults before an earthquake? No instrumental recordings show such precursory noises. Not a bad direction for research, but no instrumental evidence for such activity yet, either.
