I can't take it anymore!!!!!! Is it going to rain in Los Angeles or not!! I'm about to dress up in an outfit, go outside and do a rain dance. The weather here has been this . . . yucky . . . nasty . . . stagnant . . . yuck. Yuck!!!

Does anyone (who has been watching the west coast weather) think this has anything to do with the the "earthquake cloud" theory?? Is there something that is keeping the weather in this stalemate??

Funny, but, I've found a new hobby. Finding ancient and forgotten mines. (Gold mines, silver mines . . . whatever.) I got into it because of my sister's boyfriend. He's a gold hound. Very cool - so we both go out and look for mines together.

So . . . the other day, I just happened to be standing in this old abandoned gold mine (praying that it wasn't the moment for the BIG ONE) and looking from the inside out. This one was about 100 feet deep into the mountain. There was like a gas eminating out of the soil. It was above a layer of water that was seeping into the mine from below. Further, I could swear that some water was . . . jettisoned (for lack of a better word) from the ground - like squeezed out. This mine was along Soledad Canyon Road, about 2 miles north of the Shadow Pines exit off the 14 Freeway (for all you people who know the area).

Any insights as to that - or is it just typical . . . cave gas?

L.A. (where I live - the San Fernando Valley) is too weird to tell what the vibe is. People are perpetually nutty and volitile. Some of us are too bombarded with crazy energy to distinguish an earthquake vibe. But, I too (after getting away from it), feel that we are at a point of large activity.

Just some thoughts.
