Its raining pretty good over in the Long Beach area.

Keith and I search out old mines in search of gold and other interesting items too - It can be fun, but it is also dangerous. Be especially careful of stirring up any mouse/rat droppings - you don't want to get the hanta virus. And make sure you have lots of batteries for the flashlights.

There are some mines over in the Calico area that are really extensive - and I think over in Nevada we were checking some out that had lots of bats in them. We have heard that a number of caves have been closed off because they were favorite places to dump bodies....

We haven't looked very close to home - we're usually out somewhere in the southwest deserts checking things out. Have fun and be careful!
