No - I am the only trustee of the trust, but I consider my sibling's wishes. A living trust DOES NOT save on inheritance taxes.. Not, Not, Not... It really depends on the value of the estate - when one spouse dies, you can pull out the deduction for that spouse (I don't know what it is these days.. maybe 1 million) and put that into a separate trust that belongs to the kids.. and then when the second spouse dies, the remaining value gets taxed.. Talk to an accountant.. or better yet, an estate planner.
