Are you sure? We were told that setting up a living trust would avoid inheritance taxes. And didn't the current administration do away with inheritance taxes? Or did they just raise the bar (I think to $1,200,000?)

Another question: We have five children (three adopted). Were our estate to exceed the limit, but get divided five ways such that no one child inherited more than $1.2 million, would they still have to pay tax on their inheritance?
