I'm sorry K.B. is not happy with the press circulation, but I'm thrilled because at long last the public was able to demonstrate that they are not going to panic over predictions, even when they come from scientists.

From everything I've read people who live down there are taking it in their stride and feel confident they can continue their normal routines. There has not been any run on earthquake insurance either since the prediction was announced. Now, this could be from a lack of confidence or simply thinking a 6.4 isn't that much to get excited about. Of course, I don't think much emphasis has been placed on a 6.4 or greater event.

I understand how K.B. feels though. He wants to test his theory under the watchful eyes of his own community and I do pretty much the same about posting ear tone data here too. Less than 5% appears here.

In time this will take its course and hopefully come round to public sharing, when K.B. is ready.
