Maybe there was another plate - there seems to be too much evidence to disregard the currently held concept - Maybe he hasn't quite got it yet - and maybe there shoul;d be another boundary on his figure where the accepted boundary lies.

I think there has been a lack of much geological exploration of China - or not much publicly known - additional plate boundaries would seem logical.
