As Canie knows I'm the one who sent Pal's papers. I think no conclusions can be drawn on the basis of the first paper. The second and most technical one is probably the most indicative but I think you need the figures. As a non expert I can only say that Pal isn't so far denying the faults running across the Himalayan belt or chain. He just says the whole thing isn't joined. One thing I can assure you. Most of the earthquakes that occur in India, do so along or near Pal's ridge.

I can't send all the figures right now but if you want them I can provide them after a week or so.
