Re: How not to predict a quake - For Tony |
Hi Tony, God loves a workin man and some used car dealers, insurance sales people and even some attorneys on a good day! LOL I would have loved to have taken some video and some audio tapes of a few go rounds I had with my ex's attorney. First I offered him an option of being charged with embezzlement and then he caughed up the hidden funds. Real nice guy you see. Then after I changed my name, out of the blue one day I dropped in on him and he came out and greated me with his famous smile and tennis court looks and I told him I had a bone to pick with him. E-mail in use by attorneys is a question of moral and ethical behavior and especially in this mans case, so I set him straight that putting my life in danger and possibly his own was not a good reason to share confidential e-mail. At first he wasn't of like mind, but when I reminded him that often heated divorce trials brought on incidents of attorneys getting shot, he suddenly saw the light and agreed that in the future, sharing e-mails would not be his first course of action. I may be only one little bitty blond lady, but I'm not stupid and I'd perfer to be alive, with no thanks from adverse counsel. I think if it has not already been addressed, the American Bar Association needs to consider the issues of e-mail when used between various parties in divorce actions, or perhaps all cases in the legal realm. Wouldn't you agree? Petra Follow Ups: ● Re: How not to predict a quake - For Tony - Tony 02:41:39 - 6/3/2002 (15925) (0) |
