Small quakes have virtually no effect on stress release. Nearly all the stress is
relieved by the larger earthquakes. This is what puzzled me about the comments
in your previous post (from those who ought to know better) regarding the postponement
of the large quake by the smaller quakes in the region. As your math shows this
idea is rubbish and not worthy of the paper it is printed on (or the electrons used
to store it).
